The Full Story
About
Mr. Luke Mazure is a West Virginia based Music Educator with a primary focus on the Band and Choral Areas. Luke attended West Virginia University and earned a degree in Music Education. While at WVU, Luke's primary instrument was the saxophone, but that didn't stop him from diversifying his knowledge base. Luke took supplementary lessons on clarinet and voice and was a dual studio member by participating with the Oboe Studio in addition to the Saxophone Studio.

Also while at WVU, Luke was a member of as many ensembles as possible. He played with the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, Steel Band, and Jazz Band 1. In addition to Luke's instrumental ensembles, he also spent multiple years in WVU's Chamber Singers. Diversity in education is important to Luke, so he spent time in many diverse ensembles.

Luke has done his best to engage in many Musical Enrichment Opportunities during his musical development as possible including but not limited to: Freelance Gigging, Clinics (both on the side of the attendee and the clinician), Private Lessons, and attending as many diverse musical performances as possible. Through all of these opportunities, there are very few instruments left that Mr. Mazure has not taught in some capacity.

Mission
Luke intends to give West Virginia students an experience that is commensurate with a music education that can be found anywhere else in the country. Luke wants to give back to the communities and states that made him the musician he is today.

Vision
The turn of WV education is on the horizon, and Luke wants to be around when it happens. Luke would love to have his own program in the state of West Virginia give students the best possible experience that they can have while they are in school music classes.
